UT | Split U-shaped cable grommet
for cables with connectors, tool-free assembly / up to IP54
The UT cable grommet is an U-shaped cable bushing and makes it possible to route single pre-connectorised cables as well as standard cables with a diameter range of 4 to 11 mm into enclosures.
The wall thickness of the enclosure can be from 1 to 4 mm.
The UT is a split grommet that can be mounted around the cable. The UT grommet is ideal for installation on the lower part of the enclosure.
After fitting the grommet with the cable, it is inserted into the recommended cut-out. The enclosure cover is then placed on the lower part.
By screwing the cover tightly on the enclosure, pressure acts on the cable grommet and, depending on the properties of the enclosure, enables a sealing rate of up to IP54.
